In 2020, amidst the first lockdown, our 75 year dynamic woman entrepreneur, embarked on a journey that would forever transform how we perceive traditional art of weaving. She, as Godambari Enterprises, partnered up with indigenous artisans in order to promote hand woven articles and sustainability through original traditional
( hathkargha / handloom ) items.
Godambari Handweaves
Based just at the Mussoorie foothills, in Johri Village Dehradun, it is all about local artisans who weave colours, making our lives more vibrant and colourful with their 100% cotton handloom fabric. The womenfolk are engaged in producing multi colour bed sheets, towels, shirting fabrics and ladies dress materials using 100% cotton dyed yarn and all this on the “HANDLOOM”!
